Meet Michaela Williams the 2021 School Counselor of the Year. Michaela is an elementary school counselor at Greybull Elementary School in Big Horn County School District #3. She is the leader of the PBIS committee at her school, supports the students in her school by providing weekly counseling lessons, and manages several small groups focusing on various issues from empathy to relational aggression. Some of her many accomplishments include implementing an advocacy program to help build a positive and safe school culture at Greybull Elementary School and the co-creation of an advisory council that helps the counselors of her district advocate, educate, and inform stakeholders of the school counseling programs and goals. Michaela will be honored at the annual national American School Counselors Association conference along with other winners around the nation! Congratulations Michaela!
